The NOURISH trial studied the impact of Ensure Enlive vs placebo on readmissions and mortality through 90 days post-hospital discharge. The study did not observe a significant effect for the primary composite endpoint of non-elective readmission or death at 90 days, but Ensure Enlive was shown to decrease mortality risk throughout the observation period.2
